Degrees: Ph. D. in Business Administration (May 1981) from Arizona State

University, U.S.A; MBA (December 1977) from Illinois State University, U.S.A;

MBA (December 1974) from Assuit University, Egypt; BA in Business

Administration (May 1968) from Cairo University, Egypt.

 

• Teaching: At the Undergraduate and/or graduate levels in a number of universities

and institutions in Egypt, Arab countries and the U.S.A. Among these are :

Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the American University in Cairo, A.S.U., Cairo

University, Arab Academy for Science and

Technology (including Advanced Management Institute), Assuit University,

Monofia University, Suez Canal ,University, Kuwait University, Institute of

Banking Studies in Kuwait and U.A.E.University

 

Books: A number of textbooks and reference books in marketing, advertising,

salesmanship, materials management, management and business functions, and

quantitative analysis in business.

 

Research: More than 28 research papers published in refereed Egyptian, Arab, Gulf

and American journals (periodicals) and/or presented at international, Arab, and local

conferences, in addition to a number of working papers.

 

Training: Training expert in a large number of training and management

development programs in business administration, in general, and in

marketing, in particular. This includes a large number of government organizations,

public sector and private sector companies in Egypt, non-Gulf and Gulf Arab

countries.

 

Consulting: Executive director and/or senior marketing consultant in a number of

research studies done for several companies and institutions through a

number of local and international consulting firms.

 

Thesis and Dissertations: Ad visor on and/or member of thesis and dissertation

committees of a number of MBAs and PhDs in more than one university.

 

Professional Associations: Member, Academy of Marketing Science (U.S.A),

Arab Scientific Society for Transport, and Arab Marketing Association.

 

Research Referee: Referee in a number of periodicals such as the Scientific Journal

for Faculty of Commerce, Al-Azhar University, Administrative and Economic

Journal (U.A.E.), Journal of Gulf and Arab Peninsula (Kuwait), Arab Journal for

Administration, as well as a member of the referee committees for research papers

presented in a number of conferences in Egypt and other countries.

 

Others: Member, Editorial Board of the Arab Journal for Administration. Member,

Consulting Committee for the President of the Central Agency for Organization and

Administration (1981-1984).
